Q. Why should I book through globalCARS.com.au?
A.  There are eight good reasons!

1. Total protection for for the client. globalRES.com.au is Bonded with the Travel Compensation Fund. (TCF) Lic.No.2TA4947.

2. Price Guarantee - We Guarantee NO surcharging of the rates quoted to you on the Invoice once full final payment has been received by us. Other Government and State Taxes and charges excluded.

3 Choice - globalcars.com.au offers a large selection of vehicles in most locations throughout the world. And our selection of countries is growing. Please e-mail or call if you cannot find your desired country of rental.

4.Cancellation Policy - Occasionally you may find it necessary to change or cancel a booking. We will only pass on what is charged to us by the supplier. Compare this with other operators.

5. What we include - All INCLUSIVE rates shown are inclusive of just about everything you could need! Unlike many car rentals you will find NO extras to pay for on arrival at your destination. However, some of our clients may prefer to use BASIC rental rates. Where we offer BASIC rates you will find it clearly stated what is included in those rates.

6. Simple Booking Procedures - Just check our Web site for the model and destination you require. Complete the Booking online, Pay & then we will send your vouchers by return email.

7.Quality - All vehicles are supplied through the major car rental companies.

8. Bookings - we specialise in those last minute bookings. We will always try to accommodate our clients - including sending your vouchers by e-vouchering

Q. I've made my booking - what happens next?
A.  (1) Upon receipt of your reservation we will e-mail or Fax your confirmation. A deposit as listed on your Invoice is then required within 7 days.(2) Final payment is required 30 days prior to departure from Australia and seven (7) days prior to your departure date you will receive your car rental voucher via mail.

However, in the event of a late booking we can arrange to e-voucher or Fax the voucher to you. On arrival at your destination, just present the voucher to the designated car rental company's desk.

Q. What is included in the rental?
A.  Unlimited mileage (except Canada & Australia where this is limited to specific areas), third party insurance (including supplementary liability insurance in the USA of up to US$1 million), CDW (Sometimes also called loss damage waiver), theft waiver (where applicable), airport surcharges (where applicable) , bail bonds (where required in Spain) and all local taxes (except USA, Australia & Israel where these must be paid locally by law).

Please Note: *Certain states in USA operate a compulsory insurance excess - details can be found in our Terms & Conditions of Rental. Some additional charges may apply for young drivers under 25. Where BASIC rental rates are offered please refer to the tariff for that location for details of what is included.

Q. Who supplies the car?
A.  All cars are provided by the major companies, such as Avis, Alamo, Britz Motorhomes, Budget, El Monte Motorhome USA, Europcar, Eurodollar, Hertz, Irish Car Rentals, Kiwi Cars, Maui Motorhomes, Peugeot Leasing Europe, Sixt and Thrifty. (globalRES.com.au act as Agents only for bona fide suppliers)

Q. What if I find a cheaper car rental?
A.  globalcars.com.au operates a "price matching" policy. In the unlikely event that you find a lower published car rental price from an independent Australian operator then globalcars.com.au will match that price! - see Terms & Conditions for full details.

Q. Can there be more than one driver?
A.  Yes. In many locations the spouse can be included as an additional driver at no extra charge. But some locations do charge.

Q. Can I Drop the car off at another location?
A.  Yes. Our Partners Avis, Alamo, Hertz, Thrifty, Europcar offer convenient one way rentals at attractive rates. The customer starts the rental in one location and returns the vehicle to another. RIH/LIT (Rent it Here / Leave it There)

Q. Is there a cost for Amendment Fees / Service Fees / Cancellation Fees?
A.  Amendment Fees are not charged unless documents have been issued. Amendments after departure are subject to supplier’s confirmation. No Service Fees will be applied to land only bookings or car hire bookings.

All cancellations must be made in writing (and voucher returned to us) and will take effect from the date received by us.

Car Rental Booked Online: After Confirmation a $20 cancellation processing fee will be charged.

Car Rental via Telephone: After Confirmation a $100 cancellation processing fee will be charged.

Peugeot Leasing: 21 days or more before collection $200 From 0 – 20 days $200 plus Suppliers fees.

Citroën DriveEurope™ Leasing: If cancelled more than 4 weeks prior to collection date of vehicle, a $200 fee applies. Cancellation within 4 weeks of collection will incur additional charges from Citroën.

No-Show: 100% cancellation fee. During some Fair Periods & High Seasons, Hotel cancellation fees are 100%, regardless of cancellation notice given.
