The minimum age for all drivers is 21. Drivers aged 21 to 24 are restricted to the types of vehicles they can hire, and are not able to reduce the standard excess. All Drivers under the age of 25 are subject to a daily age surcharge of $5 inclusive of GST. - What are Priority Car Rental Terms and Conditions?

Priority Car Rental Australia accepts cash, eftpos and all major Credit Cards including Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, but excluding American Express and Diners Card. Priority Car Rental Australia does require that the main driver on the vehicle holds a current credit card for bond purposes. - How many free kilometres per day?
Unless otherwise specified the following FREE Kilometres apply to all Vehicle Classes: 1. 150 Kilometres free per day 2. 500 Kilometres free per day or you may negotiate your price to suit your needs extra kilometres are charged at 27.5 cents per km. - Can I tow using a Priority Car Rental Vehicle?
No, a Priority Car Rental Vehicle can not be used to tow or push anything, this forms part of the rental terms and conditions. - What happens if I return the vehicle late?
If the vehicle is returned up to an 1 hour late one third of the rental will be charged. If it is returned greater than 2 hours late two thirds of the rental will be charged and if returned 3 hours late or more then a full days rental is charged. - Can anyone other then myself drive the car?
Nobody can drive a Priority Car Rental Vehicle whose name does not appear on the Rental Agreement. When collecting the vehicle each driver must be listed on the Rental Agreement and they must present their drivers licence at time of collection. - Can I extend the rental duration?
Extending the rental duration is possible at time of check out or during the rental itself. You will need to contact or come in person to the nearest location. The extension is subject to vehicle availability and extra payment. - Can I return the vehicle outside the location operating hours?
Yes, you may return your vehicle when the Priority Car Rental location is closed if prior arrangements have been made. The vehicle will remain your responsibility until it has been checked by a Priority Car Rental Representative. - Do I need to check the condition of the vehicle prior to leaving the keys at the counter?
Yes, and if you found a new apparent defect (not listed on the vehicle statement remitted at time of pick up) you have to inform the Priority Car Rental employee for joint examination. - Does Priority Car Rental offer one-way rentals?
No not at this stage. - Do I need to have an International Drivers Licence?
If you will be driving for a period that is longer then three (3) months and you have an International Drivers Licence it will be honored by Australian law. If you plan to stay in Australia for more than three months and intend to drive for that period you are required to obtain an International Drivers Permit. - If I lock my keys in the vehicle am I covered by Road Side Assistance?
No, Roadside Assistance does not cover non-mechanical defects such as, lost keys, keys locked in the vehicle, flat battery due to lights being left on etc. Costs charged can be obtained by contacting Customer Service on 1800 682 176. - Do we charge cancellation Fees?
Priority Car Rental reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $50 AUD if less than 1 weeks notice is given. - Can I use another persons Credit Card to pay for my rental?
No, the credit card used for payment of the rental must be in the renters name and embossed on the front of the card. The renter's signature must appear on the back of the card. - Where can I not drive the rental vehicle?
You may drive a Priority vehicle in most states and Territories excluding, Northern Territories, South Australia Western Australia, Tasmania and no further north than Cairns in Queensland.
